Banish Back Pain

This program is designed for individuals suffering from chronic back pain. I teach education about back pain, gentle movement for stretching and strengthening, proper posturing and stress reduction techniques to improve or banish nagging back pain. Based on your needs and what’s creating your pain, we will create a practice specific to you. Sessions are done either one-on-one in person or via Zoom, should you be out of state or social distancing. Materials to continue your program on your own are included.

Posture Improvement

Forward head and kyphosis (hunching forward) are prevalent in our technical age. These circumstances create imbalance and can cause headaches and pain throughout the neck and back. Learn movement and exercises to bring your posture back into alignment. Sessions are done either one-on-one in person or via Zoom, should you be out of state or social distancing. Materials to continue your program on your own are included.

Scoliosis

For adolescents, taking a proactive approach using a specifically designed therapeutic yoga exercise/movement program based on their scoliotic pattern can stabilize or even improve your child’s curve. The suggested “wait and watch” approach often only leads to a more severe curve at the next imaging.

For adults, stretching and strengthening along with movement and relaxation practices can reduce discomfort and improve quality of life. Our bodies need regular maintenance under the best circumstances.  Even more so when we have scoliosis.
